2. Principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website, respond to your enquiries or comply with legal requirements. The Dominican data protection law (Ley 172-13) applies and, for visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Hosting
This website runs on our own server at IONOS Inc. in the USA. When you visit the website, technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system, referrer) is stored in server log files. This serves to deliver the website and ensure stability and security (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
4. Encryption
This website is served exclusively over HTTPS, so data you send us is encrypted in transit.
5. Web analytics with Plausible
We use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia; servers in the EU) to analyse website usage statistically. Plausible does not set cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not create user profiles. Only aggregated data is collected (e.g. pages viewed, country, device type, referrer). No individual can be identified (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, topic, message) solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Fonts
The fonts used are loaded locally from our own server. No connection to third-party servers is made.
8. Archydes
The macOS app Archydes is covered by a separate privacy policy, which we will publish separately.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, to data portability and to object to processing. Please contact info@solit.com.do. Visitors from the EU also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
10. Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website or legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
